Privacy Policy

Here is what we collect, why, and who we share it with. The short version: we collect only what we need to build and run your site, and we do not sell your data.

1. Who we are

Killswitch Websites is a service of LIMEN Helix LLC. This policy covers information we collect through this website and the sites and tools we build and run for you.

2. What we collect

• Contact and business details you give us through our forms, chat, or in person: name, business name, phone, email, trade, service area, and what you want built. What you type into the /start signup form (and the business, phone and email you give us on the homepage before it sends you there) is stored directly in our own customer records — your account, your website record, and our lead board — so your free site can be built and your control-panel link emailed to you. It is not handed to a form-delivery service.
• Payment information when you buy a module. Card details are entered on and handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Content you send us to build your site, such as logos, photos, hours, and text.
• Basic technical data your browser sends automatically, such as general location and device type, used to keep the site working.
• Campaign attribution such as UTM campaign labels, the referring website's hostname, and advertising click identifiers when those values are present in the link you followed. We attach them to a signup so we can tell which campaign produced it.

3. How we use it

We use your information to build and run your website, set up the modules you turn on, bill you correctly, respond to you, and send you confirmations (for example when you switch a module on or off). We do not use it for anything you did not ask us to do.

4. Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with the trusted services that run our product. We do not sell your information.

• Stripe for payments and subscriptions.
• Vercel for hosting the websites we build.
• Web3Forms to deliver messages from our legacy forms that still use it — the contact page, the support assistant, pricing inquiries, and the demo pages. Signup details from the homepage and /start are not among these: that intake is stored first-party, as described above.
• Google when you turn on the get-found-on-Google module, to manage your business listing.
• Anthropic, which powers the AI chat assistant, to generate replies.

5. The AI chat

Messages you type into our chat assistant are sent to our AI provider to generate a reply. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the chat. It is there to answer questions and get you started, not to collect private details.

6. Cookies and analytics

We keep tracking to a minimum. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate site use and conversion events. Campaign labels are held in your browser's session storage while you move through our site and are saved with your contact details only if you submit a signup. We do not create a cross-site profile or sell this information.

7. How long we keep it, and security

We keep your information for as long as we are working together and as needed to run your site, meet legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. We take reasonable steps to protect it, though no method of transmission or storage is ever perfectly secure.

8. Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any records we are required to keep. Email us and we will help.

9. Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new date.
